Westcountry Tile & Bathroom recently completed a beautifully bespoke bathroom project for a private client in Brixham, situated on the stunning English Riviera. The brief was to create a luxurious, contemporary space that balanced both functionality and timeless design, perfectly suited to the coastal charm of the home. Working closely with the client, our team delivered a seamless design and installation process that brought their vision to life.
High-quality products from leading brands were carefully selected to elevate each zone of the bathroom. The shower area features premium fittings from Matki, Majestic, and Cifial, offering both style and durability. In the bath area, elegant fixtures from Villeroy & Boch (V&B) and Cifial were used to create a relaxing focal point. The WC and vanity areas were completed with sleek pieces from Geberit, Duravit, V&B, and Cifial, ensuring consistency and refinement throughout.
To add the finishing touches, stylish accessories from JIS and Hansgrohe were installed, complemented by a carefully curated tile selection from V&B and Waxmans. This recent bathroom renovation, completed for a homeowner in Plymouth, showcases how a well-designed space paired with quality products can completely transform a room. Earlier this year, Westcountry Tile & Bathroom had the pleasure of supplying high-end bathroom products for a stunning residential project in the beautiful coastal town of Salcombe, South Devon. Working closely with one of our valued customers in the area, the brief was to create a sophisticated and functional bathroom space that complemented the style and quality of the home. While we don’t have any 'before' images for comparison, the finished result speaks for itself — a clean, modern space with luxury detailing and an emphasis on both aesthetics and practicality.
The final design features a carefully curated selection of premium brands. In the vanity area, Artelinea and Hansgrohe products bring a refined elegance and modern utility, with sleek lines and high-performance fittings. The shower area showcases Merlyn enclosures, an Acquabella shower tray, and quality brassware from Cifial and Axor, ensuring both durability and a luxurious feel. For the overall finish, Porcelanosa tiles were chosen to complete the look — offering both timeless appeal and excellent durability, ideal for coastal homes.

The transformation was dramatic – from a dated and tired space to a sleek, modern sanctuary tailored to our client's lifestyle. The before photo highlights just how much the room has evolved, with thoughtful design and high-quality materials making all the difference.

We installed a stylish Geberit vanity and WC unit, paired with elegant Sanijura accessories to complete the look. The original room suffered from poor layout, limited storage, and an overall lack of cohesion—issues clearly visible in the ‘before’ images. Working closely with the homeowner, we developed a design that maximised both comfort and usability, ensuring the new bathroom would feel bright, spacious, and beautifully finished.
To achieve the desired result, we collaborated with a selection of trusted brand partners known for their quality and durability. The new shower area features products from Merlyn and Matki, paired with precision-engineered components from Abacus to ensure long-term performance. For the furniture and brassware, we selected stylish and functional pieces from Roper Rhodes, complemented by efficient heating from DQ Heating and underfloor warming supplied by Thermosphere.
